Maid of honour, fixer of all major Pate-related disasters, dog mum and real 90’s girl. As the oldest sister, she taught me to love the TV shows that Dad hates the most i.e. ‘f.r.i.e.n.d.s’ and to love music that couldn’t be further from Mum’s love of Ska. Listen out for the poppiest of pop music!
I’m thankful to call her my big sister and to have her guiding me through this whole wedding-planning process.
Abi
The pocket rocket of the group, Abi will be dancing the night away, keeping the energy up and getting everyone joining in. Abi has provided me with the holy grail of fashion tips and make up hacks.
I’ve had some of my deepest life chats with this girl and together, we’ve turned the world upside down and right side up again.
Ella
Ella may give the impression that she’s the calm amongst the chaos that is the bridal party, but really the chaos is often her doing.
She’s the queen of one liners, tequila and getting everyone chatting. Ella is the friend everyone deserves to have in their life. Be warned though, if you’re wanting dessert, make sure to get your own because there’s no chance Ella will be sharing hers.
Kate
The youngest of the bridal party and surrogate little sister, this is where we’re sure to find trouble. Kate may be a brunette but we all know that’s just a front for what’s really going on inside her head.
It’s been a new experience having a little sister, what with me being the youngest for so long but I think the biggest adjustment was that there was actually someone out there who is more spoilt than me.
Megan
Megan is the bridesmaid who dances like she’s in a music video and laughs so loudly it’s contagious.
Her hair? Perfect—like it was styled by a team of professionals.
As a nurse, she’s always ready to patch you up or make you laugh through any pain.
She’s the ideal mix of fun, caring, and just infectious energy.
Zoe B
It’s only right that the queen of organisation is also the queen of dance – the two go hand-in-hand right? Through booking group holidays, putting up tents or dancing to ‘5,6,7,8’, Zoe is the person you want by your side. A bombshell on the dance floor, a guide to see you to the top of the mountain and most importantly a friend you’d be lucky to have in your corner.
Find Zo for any and all photo opportunities! She’ll be leading the cheesy dance routines throughout the night!
Zoè M
Pretty in pink, Zoe will make sure you’ve got a drink in your hand and your feet on the dance floor.
A uni student at heart, she ensures she brings that student energy to every party by fuelling the atmosphere with alcohol, entertainment and dodgy dancing.
The Guys
Dan
The one who does 99% of the work. Here’s the Best Man! Without Dan, our group would still be standing in the airport waiting to board the flight of our first holiday!
I met Dan in primary school and since then we’ve gone from playing on football and cricket teams together to enjoying beers in the pub together. If you get lost during the big day, you can rely on Dan to point you in the right direction… especially if you’re looking for the bar.
Callum
Don’t be surprised if you find Callum walking the wrong way down the aisle or pestering a waiter for another canape. Callum’s the one you want around when you need to talk things through, when you need a new (and often strange) perspective on a situation and the one who you will always leave you questioning what it was you started talking about in the first place.
We’ve been the ginger pair since school and that’s not going to change… until we go grey… or bald. He may not always know what’s going on, but he’s always there when you need him
Harley
I don’t remember the first time I met Harley because it was so long ago… but I do remember that he was always better dressed than any other guy our age… I would say he had better hair too, but there are pictures of him rocking the frosted tips.
It’s not all aesthetics with Harley though, he’s been one of my closest mates since we were knee high, he’s given me some of the biggest laughs and he’s even tried to teach me to move with rhythm – as you’ll see on the big night, this did not go as well as he’d hoped. Don’t believe him when he tells you he’s an engineer, he’s been winging it since school
The Dog
Kevin
Meet Kevin, our mischievous yet utterly charming Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever! With his fluffy red coat, soulful eyes, and an ever-wagging tail, Kevin has a way of stealing hearts wherever he goes.
Whether he’s zooming through the park, expertly convincing you to share a snack, or proudly carrying his favorite toy like a prized possession, Kevin is always the life of the party. He’s not just our dog—he’s family—and we’re so excited for him to be part of our special day. (He’s promised to be on his best behavior, but no guarantees!)
